BOTAFOC´s LIGHTHOUSE
The botafoc´s lighthouse is located on a small island at the harbour of Ibiza city. the Island was connected with the Island of Ibiza by a road many years ago. With the creation of a new harbour, the lighthouse is linked with the promenade "paseo marítimo" where you can get a nice walk between the City and the Lighthouse (2km of distance).
It is quite amazing that on the Island of Ibiza there are only two lighthouses only. The rest of them are located on the "islotes" (small Islands) around the Island. So you can see them on the Island of Conejera, Espalmador, Bledes, Vedrá, Penjats and Tagomago. The other lighthouse exists in the North coast of the Island very close to Portinatx.
